This girl is Coleen, 18 years old. But her size or height does not look like she's 18 because of Lupus that she suffers and it was just diagnosed 10 years ago. The most affected part of her organ is her kidneys that she needs Dialysis 2 times a week. Her dialysis started last month and the family is struggling financially. Coleen is the oldest among 5 children. Her mother is just a housekeeper, taking care of all their needs, especially Coleen, and the youngest son who has Autism. Coleen's father works in a cargo division of PAL but his income is not sufficient to provide for the family's daily needs, much more for Coleen's dialysis every week.
The family is asking for your prayers and support for Coleen. Every dialysis session at Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC), formerly Davao Medical Center (DMC) costs Php2,000. Many times Coleen misses a session and she begins to bloat due to infection.
